What Happens When Subscription Expires?
RealtimeBoard cares about your work and results that you achieve. So when your subscription expires you have nothing to worry about, your account is simply paused in the view-only mode until you prolong the subscription or choose a new plan. You can continue whenever it is convenient for you.
Points to keep in mind:
- Your team equals an account and not your profile. Although the subscription is associated with your personal profile (email address) it affects only the account workspace and the boards located in it.
- If you are a member of several accounts (for example, your free account and your corporate account) and your corporate one is paused, you can move your boards and still continue working on the free one.
To unpause the account our system will ask you to choose a new plan or continue the existing one.
If you are a member of an account but do not have administrative rights there, you will see a message to contact your admin. All administrators of your team can be seen in the Members section of the account on your profile page.

Team or Company Subscription
You should click Choose your plan in the message and you will see the options to choose:
Team account has expired
When a Personal account expires you can see the following message suggesting that you either stay in the view-only mode or renew your subscription:
Personal subscription has expired
Since a Personal account is personal and not a Team collaborative workspace, it cannot be directly upgraded to the Team plan or downgraded to the Free one (which is a small but also a team workspace). You can learn more from this article.
If you wish to use the Team plan, you can upgrade any of the Free or expired team accounts you have or purchase a new team account from the pricing page.
