Education plan FAQ
The Education plan grants a free account to educators striving to share RealtimeBoard with their colleagues and students!
What features does the Education plan include?
How can I apply for an Education account?
If you are a teacher or staff member of a non-profit educational establishment, please fill in the application form here providing any documentation that proves your status (that you're employed by a non-profit educational organization).
If you are a student, please ask a teacher or faculty member to request the account for your class.
How many students can I invite to my Education account?
An Education account is set to 30 members by default. If there are more students in your class, please contact us at email@example.com for an extension.
I already have an account where I keep some very important boards. What should I do?
How do I know if my Education account has been approved?
When your account is created you will receive an invitation email with the login information (if you are not registered with RealtimeBoard) or a notification saying that your Education account is now available on your dashboard (if you already have a profile with us):

Can I use my Education account forever?
You can use our service for free as long as you qualify for the license (as long as you are employed by a non-profit educational institution). After your account is created it will be valid for 1 year.
A couple of days prior your account's expiration date, you will be notified, so that your workflow does not get interrupted:

Just re-apply or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we could prolong your license. If you still qualify for an education license there is no need to downgrade.
Please note that the account time limit helps us avoid possible issues like the invalidity of your @edu email address and ensure that the account is still actually being used.
